History, Divine Origin & Legacy

Sacred view of Shri Om Darbar Lambra, Hoshiarpur

Shri Om Darbar Bapu Thakur Dass Ji Maharaj, located in the serene village of Lambra, Hoshiarpur, is a historic spiritual sanctuary with an unbroken legacy of 160 years. Consecrated in the mid-19th century, the Darbar stands as a profound beacon of peace, inner awakening, and universal brotherhood in Punjab.

Founded by the highly revered Bapu Thakur Dass Ji Maharaj, this sacred institution was built entirely on the ideals of pure devotion, continuous Naam Simran, and Nishkaam Sewa (selfless service). The spiritual flame was passed down through a blessed lineage of enlightened souls, including Swami Pita Sant Ram Ji Maharaj, Mata Shanti Saroop Ji Maharaj, and the revered divine couple Sant Karnail Singh Ji and Sant Mata Ram Ji Maharaj.

Maintaining an eternal spiritual connection to the supreme seat at Om Darbar Nanda Chaur, the Lambra Darbar continues to thrive today under its 5th Gaddi Nasheen. Devotees gather daily for the morning Asa-Di-Var Kirtan and evening Rehras Sahib, preserving a century-and-a-half-old tradition of community welfare and divine worship.
